How did the football season go for your team?
“Our season went good. We had a ton of new guys come up from the junior varsity level. We had a lot of close games that were decided by the final drives.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“My plans are to lift and learn how to grow on the defensive and offensive side of the ball to help my team become successful.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I am trying to improve my weight and muscle gain. This will help me get better linebacker. My goal is to gain about 20 pounds.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think our team will be solid. We have most of our defense returning and have key guys that are going to fill on the offensive side. Connor Jensen will do a great job filling in at the quarterback position and he has been working hard to make that happen. We lost most of our linemen, but we have great guys stepping up and they will do a good job. We lost both of our wide receivers, but we have guys that could fill those and do a great job at it.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“We are moving down to 2A this year and there are great teams there. Our schedule will be tough. It’s kind of hard to say which game will be our toughest, but if we do our jobs and execute, It will make it easier on us in the game.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, if that is an option, I would love to play sports in college. The sports I would consider are baseball, football and tennis.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have not had any calls from colleges yet, but I think are some looking at me.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made some visits to South Dakota and Iowa State for education.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am going to try to go to some football camps if I can this summer. It is hard to work around my schedule as I am a four-sport athlete and I have a job.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa is my favorite collegiate team. I was born and raised a Hawkeye.”
