What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“My offseason workouts have mostly consisted of lifting in my friend’s garage. I am also playing baseball this summer.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Since last season, I have worked on becoming a better leader through our teams’ leadership council and captain meetings.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Covid-19 definitely got into the way of my training. During the start of track, I was hitting the weights hard and making good progress. The school weight room getting shut down forced me to go outside of my comfort zone and find new ways to stay in shape.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think this year, our team is going to be overlooked by a lot of people. We graduated a very talented senior class, but we also have a lot of talent coming up.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Every year, our toughest opponent seems to be Sergeant Bluff. That is the one game that always sticks out on our schedule to me just because I know in order to compete with them, we will need to be at the top of our game.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“The linebacker from Harlan that has been receiving D1 attention and will most likely be our toughest individual opponent.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I am interested in playing any sport in college. I think football or baseball would be the most fun to play in college, but I would also be interested in swimming or throwing shot put in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been in contact with coaches from the University of Sioux Falls and Northwest Missouri State.”
Have you made any college trips yet
“I have not made any college visits yet.”

“I plan on visiting Iowa State and South Dakota State this fall if visits are allowed.”

“I do not have any plans to go to camps this summer.”
