How has the preparation been going for this upcoming season?
“This summer has been really good for the team working out. There have been some kinks and we have started to look like a football team and play a lot smoother.”
What are your goals for the season?
“Goals for this season is to win a state title.”
What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“I think mentally, we are in a good place. Everyone wants the same goal, and everyone is on board and all in. Obviously, we still need to continue to rep our plays and begin to play better in live situations.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our season opener is against Valley High School and we feel pretty confident about this match up. It will go differently than it did last year.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've been getting recruited by Iowa, Nebraska, UNI, Drake, Minnesota State, CSP, North Dakota, South Dakota, SDSU, NDSU, and Grandview.”
Have any colleges offered you?
“I've been offered by Grandview and CSP. I also have a PWO to Iowa.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“The schools recruiting me the hardest are Iowa and UNI.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I've made trips to UNI and Nebraska.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan on making a trip to Iowa soon, UNI and Nebraska.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I went to UNI, ISU, Iowa, Nebraska, Grandview and Lindenwood. The camp season this year went very well I was able to get on a lot of colleges I don't talk to such as Minnesota State, NDSU, SDSU, and South Dakota.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was LSU.”
