How did the AAU season go for you during the off-season?
“AAU went well this summer. I played well with my team and had a chance to show out a lot around the Midwest.”
How have preseason workouts been going for the season?
“They’ve been going really well. I have been trying to become much more athletic while getting better at the skills that I have excelled at in the past. Team open gyms have been really competitive. It’s great being back in the gym with the team.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I have very high goals for us this year. I think that we will really be able to thrive with the players that we have returning.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule?
“Most likely our toughest match up will be Waukee. They have some good size throughout their top guys, so it will definitely be a fun challenge.”
Who do you open the season and what are your thoughts on them?
“I believe we matchup with Ankeny Centennial to start. They will have a good squad this year. I think it will give us a good test to start the year.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I currently hold offers from William Penn and DMACC. I have been talking to Iowa Lakes and Kirkwood a lot. Simpson, Central, Wisconsin, and Platteville have all reached out as well.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I took a visit to Wisconsin Platteville, William Penn, and I am going to be going to DMACC to check out that campus.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up
“My favorite college teams were always Duke and Iowa State because those are the teams that I grew up watching with my dad.”
