How has the season been going so far?
“The season got off to a rough start, but we’ve been able to stay the course and continue to believe in each other as we’ve been playing some good football.”

What are your thoughts on Cedar Falls?
“Cedar Falls is a really good football team. They have some good playmakers on both sides of the ball, and they are obviously one of the best teams in the state.”

How does it feel to make it to the UNI-Dome?
“To make it to the Dome is one of the best feelings in the world. We had so many people write us off at 1-5. To be able to win five in a row and have a shot to play in the semifinals is a great opportunity.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I feel as if we can improve as a whole team on finishing games. We come out swinging in the first half most of the time. We just need that same intensity the whole game. Our best football is still ahead of us.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I think our keys are that we need to believe in each other and play for one other. We have to continue to work hard and know that anything can happen.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Right now, I think I’d like to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been talking with some NAIA and D2 schools lately, and hopefully I will have some more time to do so when our season is done.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t had much time to do so but I did make one trip and it was to William Penn. I will be able to look at my options more after football is over.”

Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I am planning on setting up a couple more game day visits once our season has ended.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college has and always will be Iowa. I’ve grown up going to three to four games every year. Kinnick Stadium is a special place.”
