What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“The whole football team has been hitting the weight room really hard, which provides a great environment. For me personally, I have been in the weight room a lot. Lately, we have been trying to break as many PRs as possible. Me and a few others have been going in on the days when we don’t have lifting just trying to take advantage of every opportunity possible.”

What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“This year, I have tremendously improved my strength, speed and agility.”

What are your areas of focus going forward?
“My areas of focus right now are trying to become as technically sound as possible at the defensive end position.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I believe that our team is going to be good. I think that we are all really close and that we will be a force to be reckoned with once we realize our potential.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“I believe that the toughest game on the schedule is going to be the opening game against Valley. We have some varsity returners and a good group of going to be juniors ready to jump in.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I am looking to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“The University of Northern Iowa, University of North Dakota, Northwest Missouri State University, North Dakota State University, South Dakota State University, Missouri Western State University and a few other smaller schools.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“At this point in time, there are all kind of at the same pace.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I went on a Junior Day up to North Dakota, but that is the only one so far.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“The Hawkeye o-line/d-line showcase, the Cyclone Big Man Camp, the University of North Dakota Elite camp, the University of Northern Iowa Mini Camp, the North Dakota State University, the William Jewell Mega Camp, and Northwest Missouri State University.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, my favorite college team growing up and now is University of Iowa. It is a dream of mine to play there.”
