How did the basketball season go for your team?
“We had a great year this year, especially coming off of an 8-14 season last year.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I’m going to try to get into the gym and run whenever possible. I’ll be going to as many of our team open gyms as well.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I will be trying to improve my perimeter shooting the most as well as ball handling. I think that would really help my game.”
What AAU team are you playing for this off-season? How do you feel your team will be?
“I’m going to be playing with Tryon Gym this year. I think we will be a pretty good team with a lot of quick guards.”
What are your goals for the AAU season?
“As a team, I would like to win every game we play. Individually, I want to learn to play with more physicality and aggression.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I think we can be just as good if not better. We did lose a lot of gear senior leaders, but we also return a lot as well.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“I think South Hamilton will probably be the hardest team we play. They have been good every year and I think will still be pumped after their state tournament run is year.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“I really love both basketball and football. I would play whichever sport I have the best opportunity in.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been talking a little bit with the Buena Vista head coach as well as the Morningside and Northwestern coaches.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I have just begun talking to them.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I have visited both Morningside and Northwestern.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am going to go to some open gyms with Northwestern and will also be going to some football camps.”
