How did the basketball season go for your team?
“We were battling different injuries all season and had different starting lineups. With all that being said, we struggled and are hoping to have a much better season next year.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“We recently got a new trainer who has been motivating our whole team to get better in the weight room this summer. We work out Monday through Thursday with speed workouts mixed in.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“This off-season, I am trying to work on a mid-range jumper. I did not shoot many of them last year and I think it would help my game a lot this next season.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I hope we will be better than we were last year. Our team will be senior heavy, and we hopefully will all be healthy. I want to be able to be competitive in our conference and surprise people after our last couple of years.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018-2019?
“I haven’t looked at the schedule too closely for next year, but I know East and West have been tough for us in the past few years.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“I haven’t completely decided what I want to do in college. Right now, if I had to choose a sport I would like to play in college it would be golf.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have talked to a few schools for golf, but I have not talked to any schools about basketball.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I visited Northwestern College for golf.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’m not going to any individual camps this summer, but my high school team went to a USD team camp last week.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I lived in Illinois for seven-years right when I started to get into college sports, so I became an Illinois fan. My dad is also an Illinois fan so that influenced me a little bit also.”
