How did the basketball season go for your team?
“It was a little disappointing finishing short of state and losing by four. As a team, I was really proud of our guys. We came out through adversity and played really hard and well. I am proud of our guys.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I started lifting a lot and stuff like that. I am trying to add a couple of pounds for the summer. I need to bang with the big guys. We are having practice with the SD Attack and doing tournaments every weekend. I am staying really busy.”
How is your SD Attack team?
“We have a lot of good players and three from Iowa. I am looking forward to playing with them. We got a good schedule and I am excited to see how much better we are.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I am really excited for next year. We lost a big piece of what we do but we bring almost everyone else back. I am really excited for next year. I think we have something really special.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Obviously Western is always tough but I think the team that can hang with us is Sheldon. They lose a little bit and I feel they are a team that can get us if anyone does.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There has been a lot of NAIA and Division II schools. The NAIA schools are Northwestern, Briar Cliff, and Dakota Wesleyan. The Division II schools have been USF, Augie, and Wayne State as of late.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say it is all pretty even but if I had to pick one, it might be Briar Cliff.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I am hoping to take a couple this spring. I made two in the fall to Briar Cliff and Northwestern. I am also going to USF coming up.”
