How did the high school football season go overall?
“I honestly thought the season went very well. Obviously, we didn't win a championship which is the goal each year, but we still accomplished a lot and made a lot of memories as a team.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a quarterback, footwork is very important, and it is an area I need to improve on before I can make the jump to the college level.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Our team next year will be solid. We have a lot of dudes that no one has heard of because last year's senior class was so good. I think we should have another good year.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Our non-district schedule will be tough with Lewis Central, Harlan, and BHRV. District play will be a battle every Friday this year.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I definitely want to play sports in college, and I will play whichever sport can take me to the highest level. I want to compete with the best of the best and right now it looks like football is my best option for that.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've heard from SDSU, Iowa, UND, UNI quite a bit, and several D2's like Winona State and Morehead.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I've been to SDSU for junior day.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I'm going to UND's junior day later in March and Winona in April.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I've always been an Iowa Hawkeye fan.”
