How did the basketball season go for your team?
“I thought that our season went really well considering last year we were 8-15 and now this year we made it to the championship game. We lost, but only to a very good North Linn team.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I don’t have a set workout plan going forward but I do know I have to get in the gym each and every day working on my game to be the best I can be for next year.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I think the things I need to work on the most this summer would be my ball handling, shooting, and shooting off the dribble.”

What AAU team are you playing for this off-season? How do you feel your team will be?
“I am playing for the Iowa Barnstormers West team. I think we will be competitive in the tournaments we play in because we have most of the team back and we are adding a few new guys that should really help us.”

What are your goals for the AAU season?
“My plans for the AAU season is just to become the best player I can possibly be for my high school team next year and hopefully get a few scouts to look into my game.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I think our team is going to do really well next year because we have 5 of 8 of our players that played last year returning for next season. I know we have some talented kids coming up from JV that will contribute a lot to our team’s success next year.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“I think our toughest competition that we will have next year is South O’Brien. They return a lot of players and return Jackson Louscher, who is an exceptional basketball player.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“I really am looking to play basketball in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t really had that many colleges talking to me as of right now, but I’ve texted an assistant coach at Northwestern College in Orange City a little bit.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am not sure if I’m doing any camps this summer, but I almost always look into going to the Northwestern basketball camp.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I really never had one favorite college growing up. I just enjoyed watching basketball or football on the TV, no matter who was playing.”
