How did the high school football season go overall?
“I would say that the season went pretty well. My freshman and sophomore years were not the best, both being winless. So, turning our program around and have a 4-5 season was a very good turn around. We did a lot of great things this season and it went really well.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Lately I have been going to the weight room, following a lifting plan my coach made. Also track will be starting soon so I will be doing that as well. I plan to build as much muscle as I can as well as improve my agility and speed.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“One thing that I’m trying I improve on as a player is my physicality on the field. I am pretty physical. I just think it’ll really help me a lot more.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“This is a question I think about every day. I’ve spent lots of my time scouting out teams on QuikStats seeing who they will be losing and all that. I think next year we will do really well. We have a lot of returning players that had the varsity taste last year and I think we will do very well. I think we have a really good chance at making the playoffs next year.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think without a doubt our toughest competition will be South Central Calhoun. They are a really good football team with a lot of talent.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I do. I would love to continue my football career in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Lately, Minnesota State University Moorhead has been the only college recruiting me.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Minnesota State University Moorhead.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not but I have one planned for April at MSUM.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes I did. I always loved the Iowa Hawkeyes.”
