How did summer basketball go for your team?
“It was pretty good. We had a lot of tournaments and the final one we got second. That was pretty good.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Our high school has a lot of open gyms. I have a skill trainer that I work with. A lot of basketball is being played.”
What have you improved on the most this off-season?
“Coach really worked on my shooting and three-point shooting so hopefully range. I want to be a more versatile player this season.”
How do you believe your team will be this season?
“I am pretty excited. We have a lot of guys returning and we did pretty well during the summer. You can tell the team likes to be together.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017-2018?
“North Scott will be pretty tough this year. Muscatine facing (Joe) Wieskamp will be tough. Bettendorf with (DJ) Carton. You better know where those are because they will go off.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of now, Wayne State. I am going to visit Augustana in Illinois sometime this fall. That is here I am at right now.”
Are there any other schools as well?
“There are others but I think I’ll go visit Coe College in Cedar Rapids.”
