How did the basketball season go for your team?
“Our season went great, but we had some games that were very close and didn’t turn out the way we wanted. We went 13-11.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I workout every morning before school and since I’m in track now I can stay in shape and maintain strength and speed. I’m in the gym when I can get the chance.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I am mostly trying to get quicker with the ball and improve on my 3-point shot. Mostly I am trying to improve my vertical leap to make it easier to get rebounds.”

What AAU team are you playing for this off-season? How do you feel your team will be?
“I am playing with the All Iowa Attack AAU team and I think we should do really good this year and probably be more dominant than last year. I am also practicing with my high school coach’s AAU team, the Central Iowa Young Guns. I won’t be in tournaments with them, but I practice with them when I can.”

What are your goals for the AAU season?
“My goals for this AAU season are to become more of a team player, become more of a threat on offense, and work on my defense more.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“We’re going to lose two good seniors next year, but I feel like we’re going to be even stronger than last year and even get a good shot at state.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“We have had many close games and games where we got beat by too much, but the toughest game was probably Van Meter just because they have a height advantage and their zone defense was really good.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“I want to play basketball in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No colleges have recruited me yet.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I haven’t but I’ve been going to camps.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’m probably going to some Attack camps and probably others, but no info yet.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was Iowa State because when I was young, I would always go to the games and they were always exciting to watch. The fans are amazing.”
