How are off-season workouts going?
“They are going well. I have spent a lot of time on my swing this off-season and feel a lot more confident coming into the season.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“My speed and being more consistent at the plate.”

How do you feel your team will do next baseball season?
“We are a young team with not very much varsity experience, but we have a good chance to develop into a really good team.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Johnston.”

Why did you pick Iowa in recruiting?
“Because I grew up going to Hawkeye games and always wanted to go there. It’s always been my dream school.”

What other schools did you consider?
“Iowa was my first offer so nobody at the time.”

What was the hardest part about recruiting?
“Studying the game and finding your weak areas to improve to really get noticed.”
