How has the football season been going for your team?
“We started off slow but have made some big improved. We have started playing a lot better.”

What areas can your team improve on?
“A lot of the smaller things like running better routes. Our line can definitely improve and on defense we just need to not get beat deep. Tackling is another thing for sure. We have to work hard in practice and improve on the field.”

What do you know about your next opponent in Mount Pleasant?
“They are a good team. Last year we beat them pretty bad but that was last year. This year, they are improving as well. We just need to go in there and play like we can. We cannot take anyone lightly.”

What has stood out from the district results?
“Coming into the season, we knew the toughest games would be Solon and Washington. They are both really good teams. If we want to win the district, we’ll have to beat both of those teams.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve gotten some smaller schools like Dordt and Iowa Western.”

What schools are you hearing from for baseball?
“Iowa Wesleyan is where I’ll be visiting at the end of September. Then I might be going to the Creighton camp and stuff like that.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Iowa Wesleyan for baseball is trying to get me up there for sure.”

Do you have a favorite sport?
“It is really between football and baseball but it switches around depending on the season.”
