How has the season been going so far?
“The season has been going alright. We’ve lost a few close games by one or two points, but I think we are ready for the second half of the season.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I feel we can improve in the fourth quarter while staying together and being in the moment. I think we get too caught up sometimes and worry too much about the future. We need to worry about where our feet are.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I think keys to being successful are playing as a team, moving the ball, and making sure we all get touches. Communicating is also a big part in being successful and being a leader is extremely important.”
How do you feel you have been playing?
“I feel I have been playing pretty good. I’m trying to do what is best for my team and making sure to make the right plays every time I am on the court. I think we have real chemistry and we all play very well together.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this year?
“Two things I would like to improve on are my 3pt percentage and my blocks. I don’t get as many blocks as I would like and if I work at it, I think I can get better at them.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“My goals for the rest of the season is too win the conference and get to state. Those are big goals, but we have some dangerous weapons on our team, and can all do some damage. We can be a really tough team to stop.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“I would love to be able to play basketball in college to anywhere I can get an offer from.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have received a few letters from a few colleges like Augustana and UNI.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made some with my team, but none for me personally.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorites are Iowa and Creighton.”
