How has the season been going so far?
“We have been playing well as a team and have had some really good games so far this season. We have such a good group of guys that come to play hard every night.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I think the goal is to get better as a basketball player every day we are in the gym. That could be by continuing to get better with our communication or simply having the discipline to commit to the defense side of the floor.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Sticking to our identity while playing to our standard and not to the score. Good things will happen for our team if we can do that.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Finish the second half of the season with great energy and try to make a push for the postseason. I think it is probably everybody’s goal to make it to Wells Fargo.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“I definitely want to play basketball in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve got some stuff in the mail from a few but are no offers yet. I am hoping after the season that will change. I have been invited to and participated in a couple of prospect camps at BV and William Penn, which were great experiences.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not yet.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“North Carolina has always been my favorite college team.”
