How did the high school football season go overall?
“It went better than expected to be honest. Coming into the year I had no idea where we were going to match up against other teams. We had just lost a bunch of seniors, however, I think this year we showed we can compete with any team that plays us.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Right now I am preparing for track season and doing more explosive workouts to help me with my sprints. I have big goals I would like to accomplish this year.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I have very high expectations for our team. We have so many guys returning and now we all have a feel for how the game is played on Friday nights so there won’t be any nerves getting in the way. I know we can make it far.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Lewis Central the defending state champs will be one of if not the toughest game of the year for us. However, we get to play them at home this year and I think that can have an effect on their game.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Drew Kingery just because of how much of a rivalry game Norwalk vs Indianola is.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes I would like to play football at the highest level I can. Both of my parents went to the University of Northern Iowa so that would be one of my top goals to play there.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been in contact with some coaches from schools such as North Dakota State, South Dakota, St. Thomas, Minnesota State, and a few others but not much besides talking.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“N/A.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made a game day visit to North Dakota State and South Dakota and plan to attend the Minnesota State Junior Day.”

Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“N/A.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up in Iowa was my go to college team. I have always been a hawk and watch them every year.”
