“I believe I have improved on my footwork the most since football has ended. My routes feel a lot sharper.”

Who do you open the football season with? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“We open the season at Camanche and it’s definitely going to be a tough game because it’s a big rivalry. They have lots of athletic guys on their team, and I’m for sure looking forward to a great game against them.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I believe the team is going to have a lot of fight in them, so that could definitely carry them a long way.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“The toughest game on our schedule is probably Cascade. After them going deep into the playoffs last year, I know they will be really good this season. They have a lot of talent back and they are a team to watch out and be ready for.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“The colleges recruiting me are Simpson, Wartburg, Western Illinois, UNI, William Penn, Waldorf, Iowa Central, Upper Iowa, and Augustana in SD.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve gone on visits to Wartburg and UNI.”

What camps did you attend this summer? How did the camps go overall?
“I attended the Iowa Western Community College camp, University of Iowa, UNI, and Western Illinois. Overall, I believe they went pretty well. I’d say I had a pretty good showing and I learned a lot.”
