How has the season been going so far?
“The season has been great so far. We have played close games very well and have been executing our plays in big games.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We can improve on playing to the level of our competition. Sometimes we tend to be unfocused against teams we know can't beat us, and that's something we just have to focus more on the rest of the season.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Moving forward in order to be successful, we have to continue to execute down the stretch like we have. We have to also have five men on the court communicating and not just maybe three or four sometimes, two the next play, then all five one play. We got to be all five together on the court communicating.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Goals are to win the state tournament and then also develop into a better player for next year, too.”
Why did you pick Northern Iowa in recruiting?
“I picked Northern Iowa because everything about them is me and what I have been doing for years. The style of play is perfect, and the family aspect of the team is what I have grown up being a part of when choosing a team.”
How important were the coaches in your decision?
“Yes, the coaching staff is great. They really believe in their players and their development. The coaches were a big part of it with how they run things.”
Why did you decide to end the process so early?
“I decided to end the process early because I knew what was the best for me. My family did, and so did my coaches. They were all a big part in why I verbally committed so early.”
