How did the high school football season go overall?
“Our high school season went well at North Scott. It was just a little frustrating falling short of making it to the UNI Dome. It has always been a goal of mine to help bring a state title to this community, but I have another go at it this upcoming fall football.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I just finished up my wrestling season. The sport has made my mental toughness a lot stronger since I started doing it and now I believe it has helped me in many ways. I am starting my track season and am excited to see how this season goes. I have several goals in mind for this track season and am very excited for it.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a player, I am trying to improve my lower body strength. I feel as though it is vital for the running back position to have a strong lower body. Also, I want to improve my speed. I have been working with our great strength and conditioning coach and I trust him with everything that I have. I know if I am committed, he will push me and get me better.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel next season is going to be one to remember. Knowing it is the last year in a Lancer uniform is an emotional feeling, but I believe in my team that friends with for years the bond and chemistry we have can't be matched.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“It is pretty obvious in my mind that Western Dubuque will be the toughest team on our schedule. Last year in the quarterfinal game against them, we had no answer for everything they threw at us and they were a very tough team. It will take everything we have to get through them.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would like to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There haven't been that many colleges recruiting me. There are just a couple camp invites here and there.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I liked Iowa growing up.”
