How did the high school football season go overall?
“The high school football season overall went well. During the regular season, we lost one game to Iowa City West but bounced back and won all of our regular season games. We had high hopes in the post season, but came up short, winning the first game against Waverly Shell-Rock and dropping the second game to state runner-up Western Dubuque.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I have been doing 1 vs. 1 work, as well as combine prep with JC Moreau at the StrengthU in North Liberty, Iowa. I also continue to work in the weight room and am concentrating on putting on good muscle weight. I am also concentrating on maximizing athletic nutrition. I will play baseball in the spring and summer as well.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a player, I am striving to work on my footwork, as well as getting better in my pass pro. I have also been working on my pulling, making it easier to get to the second level and block linebackers.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“For the next football season, we have very high aspirations as a program. As of right now I feel as though we sit in a very good position to make a playoff run. Our end goal would be the Dome come the end of the season.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Next year, I think our toughest competition on our schedule will be Iowa City West, Western Dubuque, and Pleasant Valley.”

What colleges have offered you so far?
“I have been offered by Illinois State, University of South Dakota, and University of Northern Iowa (UNI).

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“The colleges who have shown interest in addition to my three offers are North Dakota State University, Rice University, Colgate University, South Dakota State University, Iowa State, and Ball State. I have also had communications with several other schools as well, but it is hard to say they are recruiting me at this time.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“At this point, the school that has shown the most interest and is recruiting me the hardest is between Illinois State and South Dakota.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have been to two gameday visits to Iowa State and a junior day at South Dakota.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have plans to visit Illinois State on Junior Day this weekend. I also have plans to visit South Dakota State's Junior Day at the beginning of March. I also have two other Junior Day dates pending at UNI and North Dakota State. I also hope to get to Iowa State sometime again soon.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, I grew up a huge Wisconsin Badgers fan. I was born in Minnesota and moved to Wisconsin as a toddler. We moved to Iowa when I was 8. I have watched the Badgers all of my life.”
