How has the preparation been going for this upcoming season?
“Getting ready for the coming season has been going great. We gained some new coaches, and everything has been going smooth.”

What are your goals for the season?
“My goals for the season are basic. I want to win over half of our games since our team struggles winning.”

What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“Our whole team needs to just sharpen up in all areas. Defensively, pass coverage was our biggest struggle last year. Offensively, I’d say our biggest struggle was responding to other teams’ big plays.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We open the season against West Bend-Mallard, and I feel we can play a good game with them. I don’t know much about them since we didn’t play them last year.”

Who do you feel is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“Thomas Even from Don Bosco I think will be the toughest player.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t had much interest from any colleges yet.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t made any trips yet, but I plan to after this season.”

What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I went to South Dakota State University’s summer prospect camp. I thought the camp went great and was overall an awesome learning experience.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State has and always will be my favorite college.”
