How did the AAU season go for you during the off-season?
“This AAU season went really well despite everything going on. I played for All Iowa Attack 16U and we got to play in a good amount of competitive tournaments. I shot the ball well and was able to fill a bigger role on the team as the season went on.”
How have preseason workouts been going for the season?
“Preseason workouts have been great so far. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to have to many open gyms due to Covid, but the ones we have were competitive. Outside of open gym, I’ve been getting a lot of shots up and working on in-game situations.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I think our high school basketball team this year will compete hard with everyone we play. We have a lot of new guys stepping up who will get varsity minutes this year. We have a good chance to win most of our games and hopefully make a run at the end of the season.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule?
“Our toughest game on our schedule this year is DCG. They have some talented players along with a lot of athletes however we match up well with them.”
Who do you open the season and what are your thoughts on them?
“We open our season with Chariton this year. Chariton is a very beatable team. We will just have to come prepared to play. If we work hard at practice and come out ready to, then we have a good chance to win that game.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“In college, I would like to play basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“So far Dordt University, Bethel University, Simpson College, Macalester College, and Northwestern University have been recruiting me.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Dordt so far has been recruiting me the hardest.”

“I have visited Simpson, Bethel, and looking to visit Dordt soon.”

“Growing up, I also loved attending Iowa State games.”
