How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“Unfortunately in the spring, I sprained my ankle and was unable to play any basketball. The summer on the other hand went really well. I went to Chicago, Atlanta, and Ohio with Beyondball and got 2nd in both Atlanta and Ohio. I played well in both tournaments.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Workout plans going forward is to lift as much as possible and shoot 500-1000 shots every day.”

What have you improved on the most since last season?

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“My high school team will be much better than last year. After getting a new system that we already know, as well as a new coach, I know the season will go more smoothly. Granted we are in a very tough conference, but Newton will still do its best to make a run to state.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“I think the toughest game on our schedule will be at Pella Christian. They are all seniors looking to make a run at state as well. It should be a good game.”

Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“The toughest player I will play against in the upcoming season is Bowen Born.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“None as of now.”

“Notre Dame.”
