What are your workout plans now going forward?
“We just have been playing with my Newton team and also been doing AAU with the Barnstormers. I’ve been practicing with John Lamb in Des Moines and that has been it.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“At this point, we lost a lot of people from Newton so I have to work on passing and creating my own shots. We have to be able to execute and others have to score when the defense will key on me.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We’ll be a younger team but I have a couple guys that are coming up that can really help space the floor and shoot the three-ball. We have a young post that is getting better at footwork. We’ll have threats that you can’t key on so we can hit shots.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Norwalk is always one of them with Vaske and Born. I am anxious to see how Osky will be with their younger guys. We also might have a game with Muscatine and Joe Wieskamp.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of lately, Drake is one of them, Point Loma in San Diego, and then Albany in New York.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say my hardest are the lower Division II and NAIA schools. Those guys are hitting on my hard but Drake because I’ve talked to them a little bit.”
What are some of the NAIA/Division II colleges?
“There is Briar Cliff, Winona State, and Truman State. Those are the ones that I’ve been in contact with a lot.”
