How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“This spring and summer I played with All Iowa Attack 15U. We had a good AAU season, played against good competition, and competed hard. This AAU season I shot the ball well and played my role on offensive and defense.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“With football season starting, I’ll still be working out with my Newton team during open gyms while also working on my own a lot. I plan to really focus on my shot, ball handing, and getting stronger for the season. I will also be doing some training with other coaches and trainers around the area.”

What have you improved on the most since last season?
“Since last season, I have definitely improved my shot the most overall. I’ve added a more consistent shot to my game while expanding my range.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“This upcoming high school season will be better than last season. With a new coach and having more experienced players, there should be great improvements.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“Our conference is very tough and has last year’s runner up and state championship team from 3A. We play Oskaloosa and Norwalk twice a year and those two will be our hardest games this year.”

Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“The hardest individual players we play this year is Bowen Born and Xavier Foster. Both of them are extremely skilled players who will be hard to guard.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“My goal is to continue playing basketball in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been asked and attended a few college camps this summer.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“No.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I have attended Iowa State games since I was young along with Bethel University in Minnesota due to having parents and relatives as alumni of those schools.”
