What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts and sports?
“I have been going to CrossFit Teo 3 times a week, going to open gym with my high school team, and getting some shots up in the driveway.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“Strength and shooting.”
What AAU team are you playing for and what are your overall thoughts on your team?
“I’m am playing with the Iowa Barnstormers and this is my 4th year with them. It is a great program and they really care about the kids. This year we have a really good team and it’s been a lot of fun so far.”
What are your goals for the AAU season?
“My personal goals are to help my team win in any way I can and to start getting some recognition.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I think that we should be a good team this next year. We will be a young team, but I think that we will shock some people.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2020-2021?
“Our conference is going to be really young, but I think that our toughest games will be against West Burlington and Notre Dame.”
Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this winter?
“Since our conference lost a lot of seniors, I don’t know who will be the toughest yet. There are a few kids that should step up and will be tough if they do.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“In college, I want to play basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“My AAU coach has talked to Columbia, Bryant, UNI, and a few others.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I was planning on going to the Jay Bilas skills camp and Snow Valley Basketball School. but both were canceled because of the virus. I have been to both of those camps before.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“When I was growing up, I was a big Iowa Hawkeye fan.”
