How did the high school football season go overall?
“We tied for second in our district while losing a close game to Clear Lake for the district championship.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I'm currently running track and my coach, Scott Frerichs, is helping me with offseason workouts which include lifting, speed, and explosive training.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Personally, I'm working to improve my explosiveness and speed.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We're returning a lot of players. We are only losing 4 starters and one was only on one side of the ball.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Waukon is always a difficult matchup and that won't be changing next year.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I obviously want to play football as that has my passion from a young age.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“South Dakota State University, the University of Northern Iowa, and Iowa. I've also had brief talks with Kansas State.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I talk with coaches from South Dakota State more than any other college.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I was at UNI earlier this spring for a visit.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I plan on making it out to SDSU for a Junior Day and spring practice on the weekend of March 27th. I also plan on attending a spring practice at Iowa. I am just not for sure which one I will be attending.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Ironically, my favorite team growing up was the Oregon Ducks. They had all the flash and I loved watching Marcus Mariota.”
