How did the AAU season go for you during the off-season?
“This AAU season with Martin Brothers was all around an amazing experience. We had all eyes on us going into the season and performed well. We look to build upon that next season.”

How have preseason workouts been going for the season?
“They've been going well so far. I've focused a lot on getting more explosive and athletic than I ever have before and it's starting to pay off. I am also staying in the gym and getting shots up.”

What have you improved on the most since last season?
“Athleticism.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I believe we will have a chance to be really good. We have a lot of good pieces back and it should be a great season.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule?
“Marion. They made a huge run to state last year and are always a dangerous team.”

Who do you open the season and what are your thoughts on them?
“We open up against South Tama. I treat it just like any other game, just play hard and play smart as a team. I think they are a little bit down from the great team they had a few years ago but they could always end up surprising people.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Western Illinois has offered. I have had interest from Drake, UNI, Illinois State, Central Michigan, Omaha, South Dakota State, Holy Cross, Brown, Iowa, and Illinois so far.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Western Illinois.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I've made a couple so far, and I am working on setting up a few more.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“No.”
