How did the basketball season go for your team?
“It went very well. We started 5 sophomores this season and finished second in our very tough league. We had some great wins and I feel like all the guys on our team really improved.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I've been in the gym a lot lately really focusing on my ball handling and shooting. I've also been working very hard in the weight room to improve my strength and agility.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I would say my ball handling, agility and strength.”

What AAU team are you playing for this off-season? How do you feel your team will be?
“I play with a couple of my teammates, and we also added Kaleb Cornilsen from Easton Valley and Trey Johannes from Center Point. Several of us have had opportunities to play with other AAU programs, but we believe it is important to play together in the off-season.”

What are your goals for the AAU season?
“To improve individually and just to compete at a high level of basketball.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“We are returning our top 7 or 8 players and I feel like we can compete at a very high-level next season.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“Our league is very competitive and there are no easy games. Obviously Camanche and Regina are returning a lot of talent and will be very challenging opponents. Teams like Cascade and Northeast are very well coached and tough programs to beat. We look forward to the challenges our schedule presents.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“I would love to play basketball in college. It's always been my favorite sport and I love the game.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Since I'm only a sophomore and play on a more local AAU team, I really haven't heard from any local colleges. I hope as our team continues to have more success, recruiting for me and my teammates will pick up.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I have not made any college trips yet.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“Our team plans to attend team camps at Drake, UNI, and NIACC.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I've always been a big Iowa fan and I've enjoyed watching my dad's former players play for local colleges as well.”
