How did the basketball season go for your team?
“There were definitely some good points throughout the season, but we ultimately came up short of what we wanted to do plain and simple. Everyone on the team would agree, but we get to use it as a learning experience come back next year and make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I will be getting in the weight room a lot this summer and also trying to add some quickness along with basketball workouts in the mornings before baseball.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I definitely want to continue to improve in all aspects, but I definitely need to get quicker and be able to play better defense so I can stop getting exposed on defense.”

What AAU team are you playing for this off-season? How do you feel your team will be?
“I’m playing with Iowa Chill. It’s a first-year team and we have a lot of good pieces and some great coaches it should be a lot of fun.”

What are your goals for the AAU season?
“I want use it to really work on my defense. Getting to go against better players every game in AAU will help with that a lot.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“We definitely expect to have a very good season while using last years’ experience of coming up short as a learning experience. We have a group that’s been playing together for a long time and we hope to be a top team next year.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“We really need to focus on giving everyone we play our best game regardless of their skill level so that will be our challenge of bringing it every night regardless of the opponent.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“None so far. I’m hoping this AAU season I can get myself out there a little bit.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“No.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I play baseball too, so as of now, I’ll just be working to improve on my free time and playing with Iowa Chill on weekends.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yeah, I’ve always liked Northwest Missouri State. I have a lot of family that goes there or has gone there.”
