How did the football season go for your team?
“It went a lot better for us this year considering the year. We went 5-4 this year and that was pretty big.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I have been trying to stay in the weight room but it was hard with basketball. Now track is starting and I am hoping to get a lot faster in that.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I am trying to get bigger and stronger. I am kind of undersized for my position and that makes it harder to block as a tight end.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we should be pretty good. We return a lot of people.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Obviously Davenport Assumption and West Delaware will be the favorites. Wahlert returns a lot and they were really big. We’ll be ready to have a strong season.”

Do you want to play football in college?
“Yeah, I’d like to do either that or track.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve gotten some emails from colleges but nothing too serious.”

What are some of the schools interested?
“It is just all around. There was a Juco in San Francisco and then Iowa Western. I have gotten some emails from Bucknell University.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’m going to go to some college camps but I don’t know where.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve always liked Iowa.”
