How has the football season been going for your team?
“We have struggled with consistency at times. We are learning what we need to do on every single play and just trying to improve our game.”
What areas can your team improve on?
“We can improve on getting blocks better for the backs and picking up the ends. We need to not get lazy at times on defense when we are down and tired. We just have to go 100% everywhere.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Clear Creek-Amana?
“I know that they got a good receiver and a good quarterback. I hear that they are doing pretty good. It is one of those games we have to be prepared for. It will still be a fight.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“It is just executing everything on offense and defense. Our coach talks about exploding off the ball. We need to get more aggressive on the offensive line and the defensive line too as well.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“Yeah, in a sense. I want to play somewhere that I can earn an athletic scholarship. I am not super interested in DIII. I have gotten interest from Coe and Wartburg. I think that is about it.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I am kind of interested in Coe, Wartburg, and Luther kind of. I got a text from a Waldorf coach the other day. Simpson sent me an offer.”
Do you have any plans for fall game day trips?
“I am scheduled for a game day visit up at Wartburg but I don’t know if I’ll make it.”

“I have liked the Hawkeyes growing up. It is the Hawkeyes.”
