What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Summer strength and conditioning just started for us, but I’ve been working outside doing drills and stuff like that to stay roughly in shape. Also, some training during the winter to work on technique as an O-lineman and D-lineman.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I feel like I’ve come a long way overall with my strength and quickness, I’ve been mostly trying to focus at the defensive line position though as I’ve been told I’d start both ways in the upcoming season.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I’m very confident my team can do great things this season. As long as we put in the work, our results will show how well we worked for it. I’d like to make it to that playoff again and maybe even the Uni-dome this time.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“That’s a tough one, I think all the teams we face will bring a lot of competition. I can’t really say for sure it’s really just going to come down to who wants the win more.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I don’t know many guys from the teams we’ll face off with. I mean a single player can’t do everything, but I know Watts McBride from CR Wash is a dawg, and Harrison Rosenberg from CCA is a good player too.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I aim to play D1 football in college, but I’d be lucky enough to play at any college, at any level.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve had contact with a few coaches at camps, talking about how they like the way I play, and they’ll keep an eye on me. Mostly from D3 colleges like Loras and William Penn.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Besides camps and stuff, not a whole lot.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have a visit to Loras scheduled for next Friday and possibly another to Central College next week as well.”

Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed?
“I’ve been to a few camps mostly near and in Iowa. Like Missouri and Nebraska. I think I’ve done pretty good overall, there were a few where I think I could have done better though.”

Do you have any plans for camps ahead?
“I think I have a few more camps. I'll be going to the University of North Dakota for their flagship camp on July 17th.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Of course, being an Iowa boy I’m a fan of Iowa and Iowa state, but I prefer Iowa.”
