How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season didn’t go as well as we had hoped for, but we had a very tough schedule and had a lot of young guys taking big steps forward. We had some trouble finishing games, which was rough.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am playing basketball, track, baseball, and I am working on my overall strength speed and explosiveness in my workouts for the most part.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a player, I am trying to work on moving my eyes better and working on my accuracy on deep balls. Also, I am working on footwork and pocket mobility.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I am really excited for next year because we will have a very veteran team coming back, although we did lose a couple of key pieces. We have some good athletes in the classes below me that improved a lot this season and I have high hopes for their development going into next year.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Our district should be pretty tough again. Obviously, the defending state champs from New London will reload and try to stay at the top. Iowa Valley has a some good athletes returning that should help them stay right in the mix for a district title next year.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I am trying to play sports in college. I am not sure yet if I want to play football or baseball yet, but I am exploring my options in both.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have taken a couple visits for football this year. I have talked to William Penn and Waldorf coaches and also have been talking to a couple out of state schools as well.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have visited William Penn and I plan on taking as many visits as I can next year.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I have always been a Hawkeye fan. Being so close to the University and being exposed to it since I was a kid has made me a die-hard fan.”
