How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went great. Coming into the season, I didn’t know how it was going to go because of our records the previous couple years and knowing I was going to play behind our returning safety, Trey Martin. But Trey was a great leader for me and showed me what varsity football is really like.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans right now for my sports are playing AAU basketball and lifting with our defensive coordinator, Ed Miles.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I’m trying to put on a lot of muscle and weight this off season and become more explosive. Playing Bettendorf last year really showed me how skinny I was and is really what motivates me in the weight room.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“This coming year, I think we are going to surprise a lot of people. Everyone is putting in a lot of work in the weight room and we have a lot of returning players on defense.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think that Kennedy will be a very tough team next year. They have a lot of returning players and being the first game of the year at Kingston will make it a difficult game.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I do want to play sports in college. I do not know which one I want to play yet in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No colleges have reached out yet.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I haven’t made any college trips yet, but I went with Will Zahradnik to one of the ISU ones.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State has always been my favorite college team growing up for both sports.”
