How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“My summer basketball experience was really a great experience with SD Attack. I traveled the country playing top notch competition and really felt I got better in a faster pace type of basketball.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I’m working with a trainer to work on strength and agility for the rest of the summer and that’s been awesome. I’m also trying to get a really solid basketball workout in everyday as well.”
What have you improved on the most since last season?
“I feel like I’ve really developed my inside game being able to post up smaller defenders and also finishing around the rim over bigger defenders.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I really think my high school team will be scary good this year. We got a lot of talent returning next year while only losing one senior from the starting lineup.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“I think our hardest game is going to be Sergeant Bluff Luton. They’re also full of talent and have a decent amount of scorers coming back. We play them first game of the year. It’ll definitely be a fun game to watch and I’m excited for it.”
Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“We’re moving to a new conference that’s loaded with good talent like Jake Lehman, Jaleque Dunson, Savion Armstrong, and Daniel Wright. I can’t really say anyone in specific.”
What are the keys for your team having success?
“We’re on the smaller side for high school, we don’t have a lot of height. If we can learn to play faster than our opponents but also keep the game slow in our head, we’ll have a lot of success.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“My ultimate goal is to play college basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have some NAIA schools recruiting me right now.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“All them are all kind of the same for recruiting me hard I’d say.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been on one visit to Dordt University.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My whole family is Iowa fans, so my favorite college growing up was for sure has been the University of Iowa.”
