How did the high school football season go overall?
“Good. It was the first time LCHS has made the playoffs in close to a decade. We ended with a record of 6-4 getting beat by Council Bluffs Lewis Central in the first round of the playoffs.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’m a four-sport athlete, so I’m currently playing basketball. I do baseball workouts and lift weights year-round.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we will do pretty well and be competitive. We return quite a few guys. Some key players will be back on both sides of the ball. We also return a good kicker.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“As of right now we don’t have our schedule and know our district competition. I can say that football in Northwest Iowa is pretty tough and we’ll need to be prepared each game to compete.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“There are a lot of good teams and players that we go up against each week. Although I’m not sure we will play them again, I can say that Jaxon Cherry is a very good overall player. Heelan, SBL and MOC-FV will return some athletic guys that will be competitive.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I hope to play baseball in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been in contact with a few schools and will be attending camps at various schools this winter and hope to gain some traction with this process.”

“N/A.”

“Yes, I’ve been to Northwestern College and Buena Vista University.”

“Yes, I’m hoping to get to some Division II schools in the area including the University of Sioux Falls and Wayne State.”
