How has the preparation been going for this upcoming season?
“For me personally, preparing for the season has been a little slow but I can tell the other guys who don't are going to be ready.”

What are your goals for the season?
“My goals for the season would have to be making it to the dome and hopefully making a solid playoff run.”

What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“I think right now, the biggest thing that our team needs to work on is our back 7 on defense just because they’re not as experienced as guys we've had in the past. They’re athletic, but they just don't have those varsity reps yet.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our season opener is against St. Albert and just based off of last year they’re not a bad team. They were younger too, so I think it could be a good game.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve had many colleges talk to me a little bit like North Dakota a little bit and then Northwest Missouri State came and talked to me. There have been more that have tried to get my attention, but I'm just not as interested.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college visits.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I do plan to go on visits soon.”

What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I went to one football camp and it went okay. I learned a few things at the Saturday Night Light’s camp at Iowa State, but I wasn't really in the football mindset with baseball and everything else going on.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up had to be Iowa State because of my mom. She basically raised us as big Iowa State fans.”
