How did the high school football season go overall?
“I personally was happy with my season I accomplished a lot of my individual goals for the year, but disappointed with where my team ended with missing the playoffs especially with all the success we had last year. Overall, it was an okay season, but I learned and grew a lot.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My next sport is track and currently I'm working out 3 days a week with my school and 5 days a week with my trainer Keith Mercer at Mercer Elite Academy.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I'm focusing on my acceleration and being able to burst in and out of cuts. My route running is one of my best strengths but being able to be more explosive will help me even more. On top of that, I'm working on becoming stronger and putting on a little more weight while still maintaining speed.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I'm really excited for next season. I really am looking forward to prove a lot of people wrong and I have a lot of confidence that we will take the next step as a program and making a deep run in the playoffs.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Dowling or Waukee will be our toughest match ups. They are very well coached and always come ready to play. I'm very excited for a chance to play both of these games. Both teams have some tough defensive backs and it's always fun to go at it with them.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have no offers right now but have gotten contacted by smaller D-3 and NAIA schools. I also have been invited to the South Dakota State invite camp and Minnesota State too.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I have offers from only small schools D3 and NAIA, and it is nothing I am considering though.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I just visited South Dakota State last week, but no official visits.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I always loved Iowa State. I have family that went and played up there and it's always been my favorite school. As of now, my sister is playing basketball at South Dakota State and have gained a lot of interest in that school as well.”
