How did the football season go for your team?
“The season went great this past year. I felt that we built a strong bond with all team members and it had a family atmosphere. As an individual, I felt that I was able to showcase what I can do as an athlete. I knew from the beginning of the season this team was something special.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“My workout plans going forward are whatever track workouts consist of this season. I will be consistently weight lifting at personal gym during the spring. This upcoming summer will be football team lifting and personal gym training.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I want to improve my strength in my upper body the most. The goal is to gain weight and increase my mass. Getting faster and jumping higher are also very important to me.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think my team will be lethal on the defensive side with a lot of veteran returners that have been playing varsity since we were sophomores. The team is full of talent and shows promise in all positions. I can’t wait to see what the younger players can do.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“I think every game will be tough. All teams will be coming after us this season because of how well we did last season. We have many returning starters, but it’s all going to be a battle.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“It mostly depends on the college and if I’m going to play sports. Football or track would be what I pursue.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have only had a few colleges that have expressed interest. It has been Minnesota State in Mankato, Minnesota State Moorhead, and a small Memphis college.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any official visits. I’ve only seen the Iowa campuses from various sporting events.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I plan to go to all Iowa camps that is offered around the state.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“The University of Iowa has always been my dream school to play at since I grew up going to the games. I like the staff at Iowa and the great facilities.”
