How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season started off with a win against the defending state champion Hudson, but the team as a whole fell short of what we wanted to accomplish. We finished 3-6, an improvement from just 2 years ago when we went 0-10.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am a four-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, track and field, and baseball.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As an offensive lineman, I want to work on pulling and picking up linebackers on a blitz.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I hope our team will not only improve in the win loss column, but also improve on the culture of Jesup football for the long run.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The competition around the Cedar Valley is always tough and when we find out our schedule in March, we will most likely have a very solid district.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I think I have multiple opportunities in many different sports, but as a sophomore, I don’t want to limit myself to just one I want to pursue at the next level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t received much interest for my sports yet. I just started getting exposure at the varsity level this year for football.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No not yet, but I am open for visits for academics or sports.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, I am a big fan of Iowa State and UNI.”
