How has the season been going so far?
“The season has been going good. We have been in every game we have played. We are a pretty young team overall.”
Who is your next opponent? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“Looking ahead to week six, we will play New Hampton. I don't know much about them, but what I have heard is that they didn't return many starters from last season. Both of us played against Aplington-Parkersburg in a closely contested game.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I believe our team has done great so far in playing our hearts out and such. We all can agree that we just need to work on the little things like staying on a block or reading keys.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Overall, I think we have come with a big heart to every game. I think that's the biggest key in football and is the biggest key to our success this season.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“It's been a dream of mine to play college football ever since I was little. It's something I want to be a part of for the rest of my life.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I really haven’t had anyone try recruiting me, but I have been talking to a few coaches and been receiving emails about their seasons or camps.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t been to any college trips yet, but we do want to make it down to a few.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I’ve been talked to by a coach from Iowa Central to come on a game day visit.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college is Iowa and has always been. I am also a big fan of Iowa State and UNI as I’m getting older.”
