How did the basketball season go for your team?
“It went pretty good. I felt it was a successful first season for high school basketball. It just didn’t turn out well in the postseason. I felt I achieved a lot of my goals and got a lot better as a player.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I’ve been focusing a lot on my strength and conditioning. I’ve been lifting weights every day of the week and that has been my main focus. I am getting my weight up as that is a big concern for me.”

How was your first weekend playing with the Barnstormers this AAU season?
“For the first tournament, we did alright. We got a lot of new kids so we have to still try to figure each other out. It is a process. From the first game to the last this weekend, we got a lot better.”

How do you believe your high school team will be next season?
“I’m really confident because we got a lot of players returning next year. The junior class is a strong class. I feel we have a good shot next year to be a contender.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Cascade is always a really good team and West Branch is a big game. They are basically our rivals.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Not really. I am thinking after spring and summer AAU it will pick up a little bit.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I haven’t really decided what camps I’ll do but I will definitely consider it. It is a good way to get my name out there.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I have grown up around Iowa and have been a big fan. I live close to Carver and Kinnick so it is a home town team.
