How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“The spring and summer didn’t go as good as I hoped with AAU, but I definitely improved as a player.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“After this summer, I realized my jumper was a big impact on my game to spread the defense so I’ve been working on shooting, especially when I’m winded and just being more consistent.”
What have you improved on the most since last season?
“I think my feel for the game really improved understanding situations better and playing at the right pace. It is also shooting off the dribble.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I think this year, City High has a chance to definitely be top 5 five in our conference and a good chance at a state appearance this year. We have all the pieces, so it’s more so how bad do we want it.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“West High just because they know they have something to prove now since Patrick’s gone. They’re our rivals, so I think that will definitely be a tough game with both teams having something to prove.”
Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“Michael Duax. I’ve always felt he was one of the toughest and I can legitimately say his ranking is legit.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“I would like to play basketball in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“SMSU is the only school showing interest. They haven’t reached out yet, but they have been watching during AAU.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No.”

“Florida State. I liked the environment and their play style.”
