How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall a successful season, winning many games. Disappointed with a couple of close losses but the team improved along the way.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Just wrapped up my junior year basketball season where I was awarded team MVP. Now I am concentrating on speed, agility, lifting and throwing.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we will have another successful season. I am looking forward to the new district. Our team has been working hard and we should show that on the field.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest on the field?
“Van Meter. They are a well-coached team and have been to state year after year.”
Who is the toughest individual athlete your team will face?
“Dalton Van Pelt, Van Meter’s running back. He runs hard and is a good athlete.”
Do you want to play sports in college?
“I would like to go to college and play football and if the opportunity is there, potentially play basketball. My passion is football and I’m looking forward to finding a good fit for my future.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“At this point, I have been in contact with a lot of different schools. North Dakota State, University of St. Thomas, University of Mary, Wayne St. University, Missouri Western State, University of Central Missouri, Concordia Nebraska, Montana Tech, Morningside, Dordt, Culver Stockton, Luther, Lake Forest, Crown College, and Iowa Central.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made just a couple college visits. I’m just getting started. I plan to make a lot of college visits and attend football camps this summer.”
Do you have trips planned soon?
“Planning to attend a lot of camps starting at the end of May.”

“I followed many of the in-state colleges growing up. There isn’t one specifically that was my favorite.”
