How did the high school football season go overall?
“I believe football overall this season went pretty well. As a team, we improved a lot this season even with having a new head coach. The record doesn’t really show it, but we put up a lot of good competition with competitive teams. I thought I improved a lot myself as a middle linebacker being able to play at full speed with confidence.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans with workouts and sports have stayed the same through football. Now that we are about halfway through track, I’m still hitting the weight room as much as I can, working hard in track, and preparing for summer workouts for the upcoming football season.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Our upcoming team is looking pretty decent as far as I can tell with kids that want to play are putting in the work. Our coaching staff had made a big change this year and had got a lot more kids in the weight room who are excited for the season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Algona. I feel like they will be the toughest competition because they have some good athletes out for football that aren’t afraid to get down and dirty. We have gone back and forth every year with them being our biggest rival.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play football in college. It has always been a dream of mine ever since I started playing. I also wouldn’t mind running track as well, but football is my mindset.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“The schools that are recruiting me are SDSU, Wartburg, Northern State, Bemidji State, Simpson, Iowa Central, BVU, and a few smaller colleges as well.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would have to say Northern State has been recruiting the hardest along with SDSU with getting messages from those coaches about every week or more.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips with a busy track schedule this spring.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I will be doing my best to get to as many junior days as I can.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college team growing up was Iowa.”
