How did the football season go for your team?
“I thought it went great. Being the runner-up was pretty amazing. Playing in the Dome was awesome.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Basketball season started. I love basketball. It is my favorite sport to play. We are just getting that going.”
What do you know about your next basketball opponent in Dike new Hartford?
“They don’t have a single senior out for basketball, so it is all kids in my grade. They have always beaten us a ton from second grade to eighth grade. Hopefully, we can get a win there and sort of get back for all of those losses.”
Based on results so far, who appears to be the best team in your conference?
“We played AP and lost to them. It was a great game, but they are very big. They all shot pretty well and are hard to defend.”
Do you want to play basketball in college?
“Yeah, probably basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No, not yet. Hopefully I can get that opportunity.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I usually go to at least one football camp and one basketball camp.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve always loved going to UNI basketball games there. My freshman year one of my teammates, Austin Roth, went on to play at Coe. It’d be pretty cool to play there with him again.”
